WESTMINSTER — A Massachusetts man was arrested for driving under the influence on Interstate 91 in Westminster late Tuesday night, according to Vermont State Police.
Troopers from the Westminster Barracks conducted a traffic stop on I-91 northbound near mile marker 25.6 at 11:57 p.m. on May 20 for observed motor vehicle violations.
The operator was identified as Orlando J. Rivera, 35, of Springfield, Massachusetts.
During the investigation, troopers observed that Rivera was displaying several signs of impairment.
Rivera was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Westminster State Police Barracks for processing.
After processing, Rivera was released on a citation to appear in court to answer to the DUI charge.
