Dummerston man cited after crash on Middle Road

DUMMERSTON — A Brookline man faces charges of grossly negligent operation following a single-vehicle crash in Dummerston on Saturday.

Vermont State Police troopers from the Westminster Barracks responded to the crash on Middle Road near Tucker Reed Road on May 17.

Julien Lavoie, 62, was identified as the operator of the vehicle involved in the crash.

Investigation revealed Lavoie was operating the vehicle in a negligent manner, according to police.

Lavoie was issued a citation to appear in Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on May 19 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charge.
