Woman faces DUI charge after Londonderry crash

LONDONDERRY — A Pennsylvania woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash on Vermont Route 11 Friday afternoon.

Susan Franz, 60, of Hanover, was charged with DUI and negligent operation after Vermont State Police responded to the crash at approximately 2:22 p.m. on May 9.

Troopers from the Westminster Barracks arrived at the scene in Londonderry after receiving a report of the crash.

During their investigation, officers determined Franz was operating her vehicle while impaired, according to state police.

Franz was taken to the Westminster Barracks for processing and later released with a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Unit, Criminal Division on May 27 at 8:30 a.m.
