GLOVER — A Barton man was arrested Friday morning in connection with a theft reported at a residence on Bean Hill Road.
Travis Dopp, 31, faces multiple charges including burglary, possession of stolen property, grand larceny, and being a person prohibited from possessing firearms.
Vermont State Police received a report at 6:52 a.m. from a homeowner who discovered items had been stolen from his residence the previous night.
The stolen items included a safe containing multiple bags of coins, a revolver and cash.
Camera footage from the residence captured the suspect, who was later identified as Dopp.
Authorities located Dopp in Glover and took him into custody.
He was transported to the Derby Barracks for processing and later to Northern State Correctional Facility.
Dopp was issued a citation to appear in Orleans County Superior Court – Criminal Division on May 12 at 12:30 p.m.
