Brattleboro police arrest 11 in two-week period

BRATTLEBORO — Eleven individuals were arrested by the Brattleboro Police Department during a two-week period from April 17 to May 1, according to a police department press release.

On April 17, officers on patrol encountered Alan Stay, 36, of Brattleboro on Putney Road and discovered he had an active Probation and Parole Warrant from the State of Vermont.

Stay was arrested, transported to the Brattleboro Police Department, held without bail, and subsequently transferred to Southern State Correctional Facility.

Also on April 17, officers responded to Elm Street where they arrested Karissa Littleton, 27, of Brattleboro, who had an active arrest warrant.

Littleton was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, possession, and assault on a law enforcement officer, and was held in lieu of $700 bail with a court appearance scheduled for April 18.

On April 19, officers responded to 580 Canal Street for a trespassing complaint and arrested Colleen Bagley, 34, of Brattleboro, who had an active arrest warrant.

Bagley was issued a citation and released with a court date of April 21.

Later on April 19, officers encountered Nicholas Kane, 36, of Brattleboro on Clark Street and determined he had an active arrest warrant.

Kane was held in lieu of $100 bail and scheduled to appear in Windham County Superior Court on April 21.

On April 20, officers on patrol arrested Mixtli Graves-Paul, 25, of Brattleboro on Canal Street after discovering he had an active arrest warrant.

Graves-Paul was issued a citation and released with a court appearance scheduled for April 21.

On April 22, officers encountered Tessa Scott, 25, of Brattleboro on Putney Road and determined she had an active arrest warrant.

Scott was issued a citation and released with a court date of April 22.

Also on April 22, officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on High Street and arrested Anthony Paraspolo, 40, of Newfane for operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended license.

Paraspolo was issued a citation and released with a court appearance scheduled for June 3.

On April 26, officers encountered Howard Silvernale, 40, of Brattleboro on Elliot Street and determined he was in violation of his conditions of release.

Silvernale was held in lieu of $1,000 bail with a court appearance scheduled for April 28.

On April 27, officers responded to the Holiday Inn for a disturbance and arrested Tasha Miller, 45, of Brattleboro for aggravated disorderly conduct and assault on a law enforcement officer.

Miller was held in lieu of $1,000 bail with a court date of April 28.

Also on April 27, officers responded to Groundworks for a theft complaint and arrested Quentin Paquette, 60, of Barre Town, who had multiple active arrest warrants.

Paquette was held in lieu of $6,000 bail with a court appearance scheduled for April 28.

On April 30, officers responded to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for a disturbance and arrested Stephen Springer, 67, of Brattleboro for disorderly conduct and assault on a law enforcement officer.

Springer was held in lieu of $1,000 bail with a court date of May 1.
