VSP: Troy drug raid details limited due to suspect’s age

TROY — Multiple law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant Tuesday morning at a Troy residence following a months-long narcotics investigation.

The Vermont Drug Task Force, Vermont State Police Tactical Services Unit, Derby Barracks troopers and Orleans County Sheriff’s Department conducted the raid at 126 Railroad Street around 9 a.m.

Authorities said the search was the culmination of an extended investigation into the distribution of cocaine base and fentanyl at the location.

At this time, police indicated they are unable to release additional information due to the age of the individual involved.
