HAMDEN — A Fort Lee, N.J., man was arrested after being charged with harassment in the second degree, according to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Craig S. DuMond reported that the arrest stems from a domestic dispute complaint registered on Nov. 15.
The victim of the alleged incident contacted law enforcement on Jan. 22 to pursue harassment charges.
Following an investigation, authorities claim that Amos Elmaliah, 47, engaged in conduct intended to alarm or annoy another individual without legitimate reason.
Officials petitioned and received a criminal summons from the Hamden Town Court.
On Feb. 19, deputies arrested Elmaliah in connection with the summons.
He was subsequently released and instructed to appear in Hamden Town Court at a future date.
