SALEM — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a couple suspected of stealing from a local store multiple times.
According to the Salem Police Department, a man and woman were caught on surveillance video taking Nike sneakers, including a pair of Air Jordan Retro 3’s, during at least three separate visits to the store.
Authorities said the couple changed their clothing between incidents, possibly in an attempt to avoid detection.
Police said the pair returned to the store twice after the initial theft, which helped officers identify a pattern.
