TROY — The Vermont State Police responded to a report of an assault at a residence on Sanville Road in Troy at approximately 5:34 p.m. on Feb. 26.
An investigation determined that Michael Liberta, 46, of Troy, assaulted a household member and violated his active court-ordered conditions of release.
Liberta was arrested and transported to the Vermont State Police Derby Barracks for processing.
He was later held for lack of $25,000 bail and brought to Northern State Correctional Facility.
