LYNDON — A Wheelock man was arrested early Thursday after a traffic stop revealed he was driving with a criminally suspended license and violating court-ordered conditions of release.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were on routine patrol in the Lyndonville area at approximately 12:05 a.m. on Feb. 13 when they observed a motor vehicle violation.
The vehicle was stopped, and the operator, Jonathan Rutledge, 46, of Wheelock, was identified.
Further investigation determined Rutledge was driving with a criminally suspended license and had violated conditions of release set by the court.
Rutledge was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police barracks in St. Johnsbury for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on March 10 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charges.
