LONDONDERRY — A 66-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed in her motel room on Feb. 7 at approximately 9:51 p.m.
Vermont State Police responded to a report of a theft at the Magic View Motel located at 3806 VT Route 11.
The victim, Lynn Norman of Londonderry, was the sole occupant of the room at the time of the incident.
Investigators determined that at approximately 9:28 p.m., an unidentified individual entered Norman’s room without permission.
The individual physically assaulted Norman and stole a black, fur-lined Calvin Klein jacket containing approximately $700 in cash, along with other personal belongings.
The suspect fled the scene at approximately 9:30 p.m.
The individual’s identity, age, and residence remain unknown.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Vermont State Police.
