MARLBORO — On Feb. 8 at approximately 4:52 p.m., troopers with the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at the intersection of MacArthur Road and Stark Road.
The operator of the vehicle, identified as Jackson F. Batchelder, 30, of Marlboro, showed signs of impairment during the interaction with troopers.
When asked to exit the vehicle, Batchelder refused and had to be physically removed by law enforcement.
He was arrested and transported to the Wilmington Police Department for processing.
Batchelder was released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Feb. 25 at 8:30 a.m. to face charges of DUI and resisting arrest.
