BARNET — On Feb. 7 at approximately 4:30 p.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police responded to a report of trespassing.
An investigation revealed that Stephen MacNevins, 44, of St. Johnsbury, had committed unlawful trespass and violated conditions of release before fleeing the scene.
Troopers later located MacNevins in his vehicle traveling back to the original offense location.
During a traffic stop, troopers observed signs of impairment.
MacNevins was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police barracks in St. Johnsbury for processing.
He was held on $500 bail and transported to Northeast Correctional Complex.
MacNevins was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Feb. 10 at 12:30 p.m.
He faces charges of DUI, unlawful trespass, and violating conditions of release.
