Thornton police seek witnesses to hit-and-run at Owl’s Nest resort

THORNTON — Authorities in Thornton are asking for the public’s help in investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred in the parking lot of Slice at the Owl’s Nest resort.

The incident took place Jan. 25 between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., according to the Thornton Police Department.

The vehicle involved is described as a white Toyota, but the make and model remain unknown due to the limited information currently available.

The police are reviewing camera footage from the area and are eager to speak with anyone who was at the resort during the time of the incident and may have witnessed the event or heard something that could aid the investigation.

Sgt. Jeannine Wood is leading the inquiry and urges anyone with information to come forward.
