ST. JOHNSBURY — Police responded to a three-vehicle crash in St. Johnsbury.

The crash took place at the Sunoco gas station on Memorial Drive at around 4:50 p.m. on September 30.

According to the report, David Evans, 74, of Barnet, accelerated into the gas station at a high rate of speed from the Taco Bell across the road.

Evans failed to yield to vehicles on Memorial Drive and vehicles exiting the gas station.

Natalie Conway, 40, of St. Johnsbury, was exiting the gas station when Evans collided head-on with her vehicle.

As a result of the initial collision, the Tundra spun around into a gas pump as the Ford F-150 continued to plow into it, until it collided with a Subaru Outback which was parked at this gas pump.

The occupants of Evans and Conway were transported to NVRH for minor injuries.

The occupants of the third vehicle were unharmed.

Police say the investigation of this crash continues, pending civil violations for the driver of Evans.
