GRANTHAM –– Local police are seeking witnesses and information about an alleged incident of indecent exposure and assault that took place on Monday, Sept. 4.
Authorities report that a man is believed to have exposed himself and played with his genitals while sitting on a bench in Welby Street between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
A public member who confronted the man’s behavior was subsequently assaulted.
Police have arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of the assault and exposure. He has since been released on bail.
The Grantham Police Department is now urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to contact PC Geordie Brown.
