GRANTHAM –– Lincolnshire Police have charged a 45-year-old man, Lee Sentance, with multiple offenses including theft, burglary and drug possession, thanks to a collaborative effort by local law enforcement and CCTV operators.
Police responded to burglary reports at two Grantham businesses on August 30. The first report came from The Savoy Cinema at 4:23 a.m., where 159 bags of sweets and nine tubes of Pringles totaling £482.55 were stolen.
The second report involved an attempted burglary at St John’s Medical Centre later on the same day.
Sentance, a resident of Harrowby Road in Grantham, was arrested at 10:15 a.m. on Cambridge Street by Response officers.
Following his arrest, he was interviewed, charged and remanded into custody, awaiting a court appearance.
In addition to these charges, Sentance was also charged with another count of burglary from a May 16 incident at CEX in Grantham.
During this incident, a language translator, in-ear earbuds, and a Samsung D22, valued at £460, were reported stolen.
Sentance is also facing charges for theft from a motor vehicle, stemming from an August 28 incident on Inner Street, where a handbag was reported stolen.
Two additional charges were leveled against Sentance for possession of class A drugs, specifically cocaine, and for carrying burglary tools.
