Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office handles over 8,000 calls in two weeks

BRENTWOOD — The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center was busy over the past two weeks, handling a total of 8,385 calls for service.

During that time, deputies and staff arrested 30 individuals with warrants and additional charges, investigated 13 offenses, and conducted 235 motor vehicle stops.

In addition to their regular duties, the Sheriff’s Office also handled several extraditions of subjects who were in custody outside of the state.

Deputies assisted with calls in local communities, including responding to motor vehicle crashes, disabled motor vehicles, and other various calls for service.

The Sheriff’s Office also assisted with eight IEA’s (Involuntary Emergency Admissions) of subjects to the New Hampshire Hospital System.

The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that they remain committed to serving and protecting the citizens of the county, and will continue to do so with the highest level of professionalism and dedication.
