Concord police seeks public’s help locating wanted man

CONCORD, NH – The Concord Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating David Melanson, a 29-year-old man from Concord, who is wanted on multiple charges.

Melanson is facing a warrant for criminal threatening, two counts of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, and two counts of simple assault.

The charges against Melanson stem from an incident that occurred on March 13, in the downtown area of Concord.

During the incident, one person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated and released by Concord Hospital.

The Concord Police Department is urging anyone who knows Melanson’s whereabouts or observes him to not approach him but to contact their local police department or the Concord Police Department at (603) 225-8600.

Melanson is described as a white male, 5’ 8” tall, and weighing 165 lbs.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to come forward.
