Driver found unresponsive after crash in Westminster

WESTMINSTER — A 75-year-old man from Bellows Falls was involved in a crash in Westminster yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of a single-vehicle crash in the area of I-91 north at around 11:45 p.m.

The driver, identified as Braford Rockwell, was found to be unresponsive.

Troopers and emergency services personnel conducted life saving measures and were able to revive Rockwell.

Rockwell was transported to Springfield Hospital for treatment.

Police say that Rockwell was under the influence of narcotics while operating his vehicle.

He was processed for suspicion of driving under the influence of narcotics.

He was released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in court on May 2 to answer the charges of DUI drugs.
