WESTMINSTER — Police say a man was seriously injured while lighting off fireworks in Westminster on Saturday. Authorities responded to a home on Davidson Hill Road to assist Golden Cross Ambulance and Westminster Fire Department with reports that a man had injured himself around 9:40 p.m. The man was transported to Springfield Emergency Department with a significant injury to his hand.
