WATERFORD — A 37-year-old man from New Hampshire was arrested for DUI following a crash in Waterford yesterday.
Authorities were notified of a vehicle off the road on Route 18 at around 4: 15 p.m.
Police identified the driver as Gordon Cate, of Monroe, NH, who was just getting out of the vehicle.
According to the report, the vehicle was traveling south on Route 18 prior to the crash.
The vehicle traveled across the northbound lane, and off the road approximately 25 feet from the road.
Cate was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
He was transported to the St Johnsbury Barracks for processing and released on a citation to appear in court.
