Man charged with DUI #2 after crashing into house in Dorset

DORSET — A 29-year-old man from Peru was arrested for his second DUI following a crash in Dorset on Monday.

Authorities were notified of a crash on Squirrel Hollow Road, where a vehicle allegedly struck a house and then rolled onto its side at around 6:50 p.m.

Police say the vehicle caused minimal damage to the house.

Police identified the driver as Jacob Chila.

Following an investigation, police allege that Chila drove and crashed the vehicle into the house while significantly impaired by alcohol.

He was arrested for DUI #2, processed, and released on a citation to appear in court.
